AJ Lemheney

AJ Lemheney is currently the vice president and executive director of Muhlenberg College’s Division of Graduate and Continuing Education. 

AJ has an extensive career in workforce development and education services having previously served as the interim vice president of human resources at New Vitae Wellness and Recovery and chief operating officer of the New Vitae Wellness Foundation; chief learning officer at Knowledge to Practice, a provider of postgraduate medical education; vice president of education and designated institutional official at Lehigh Valley Health Network, an academic community hospital.

AJ has held numerous other positions in academic medicine, organizational development consulting and undergraduate and graduate education. He is a strong advocate for economic empowerment through literacy, education, and wellness, with research interests in educational technology and instructional design.

AJ earned his Bachelor of Science in computer science & philosophy from DeSales University, Master of Education in instruction & curriculum from Kutztown University, post-graduate studies in clinical psychology from Kutztown University, post-baccalaureate certificate in human resource and organizational development from Moravian College, and Doctorate of Education in learning & technology from Pepperdine University. AJ also holds professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, project management, and adult academic advising. 

AJ lives in the Lehigh Valley with his husband and five cats. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with extended family, bicycle riding the Lehigh & Delaware canal paths, hiking, fitness and yoga.
