Co-founder/Artistic Director, Lehigh Valley-based Basement Poetry
Chloe Cole-Wilson (she/they) is the co-founder/artistic director of Lehigh Valley-based Basement Poetry. Since January 2015 she has produced seven full-length theater productions with Basement Poetry. Her work has been performed at Lehigh University, The IceHouse, Northampton Community College, Moravian College and Philly Fringe Festival. She is working to expand her company into other literacy art forms, from short plays to short stories.
She wants to create a safe place for emerging artists and the community to explore and express their voices. In addition to being an artist activist, she is the program coordinator for a youth program titled Project Silk Lehigh Valley. She is committed to making sure her organization gives exceptional health care to BIPOC LGBTQ youth and young adults and truly cares about changing the way health care clinicians take care of their communities.
