Deidra Vachier is the CEO and President of Community Services for Children, a non-profit organization, dedicated to preparing young children and their families to succeed in learning and in life. Community Services for Children operates Pennsylvania’s Early Learning Resource Centers throughout 17 counties in the Northeast and provides Head Start, Early Head Start and Pre-K Counts educational services to more than 1500 children and families in Lehigh and Northampton counties.

Deidra has been with Community Services for Children (CSC) for 24 years. She began her career as a teacher in Head Start appreciating the holistic, family-centered approach resonating with her desire to support meaningful, positive change in the lives of children and families. She is passionate about education, innovation, and service to others.

Deidra is involved in the community serving on the Early Care and Education Advisory Committee for Lehigh Career and Technical Institute and the Northampton Community College ECE Advisory Committee. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Head Start Association Board of Directors and the Lehigh County Children and Youth Advisory Board.  

Deidra and her husband Saul are parents to two amazing children, Jaziah (11) and Jaylah (9). As a family, they enjoy travel and the outdoors, biking, hiking, and all things water. In the Lehigh Valley, they reside in South Allentown.
