Lucinda Wright is currently the Equity and Inclusion Coordinator for the City of Allentown, where she plays a pivotal role in promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her journey to this significant position has been marked by years of dedicated service and a commitment to improving her community.

For over four years, Lucinda served as the city's Special Events Manager, where she showcased her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Her contributions were instrumental in the successful execution of numerous events that brought the Allentown community together.

Before her tenure with the city, Lucinda dedicated over a decade of her professional life to Bright Futures, a local early learning center, where she held the position of Assistant Director. During this time, she tirelessly worked to create inclusive classroom settings and implemented early intervention strategies for children displaying developmental delays or behavioral concerns. Her unwavering passion for early childhood education and inclusive practices left an indelible mark on the lives of countless young learners.

Lucinda's educational journey began at Allen and Dieruff high schools, where she laid the foundation for her future achievements. She then pursued higher education as a first-generation college student at Muhlenberg College Wescoe School of Continuing Education, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. This educational background has provided her with valuable skills that she now applies to her role in promoting equity and inclusion in the City of Allentown.

With her impressive track record of service, dedication and academic achievement, Lucinda Wright continues to be a driving force for positive change in her community, ensuring that the values of equity and inclusion remain at the forefront of Allentown's initiatives.
