Before her tenure with the city, Lucinda dedicated over a decade of her professional life to Bright Futures, a local early learning center, where she held the position of Assistant Director. Her unwavering passion for early childhood education and inclusive practices left an indelible mark on the lives of countless young learners.
Lucinda's educational journey began at Allen and Dieruff high schools, where she laid the foundation for her future achievements. She then pursued higher education as a first-generation college student at Muhlenberg College Wescoe School of Continuing Education, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. This educational background has provided her with valuable skills that she now applies to her role in promoting equity and inclusion in the City of Allentown.
