Andrene Nowell is an arts luminary and Founder and Executive Director of Fine Feather Foundation Inc., a beacon of hope for at-risk children. Nowell is also an Allentown School Board Director. However, her journey doesn’t stop there. Before her philanthropic endeavors, she partnered with Stacey Newman to launch Fine Feather Kids LLC, which is a children’s clothing company for a cause. It is through Fine Feather Kids that Nowell was able to begin the purposeful mission of transforming the lives of at-risk children with proceeds from the children’s clothing venture.

Before launching Fine Feather Foundation and becoming a community leader and liaison, Nowell juggled quite a few roles. She is an entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, radio host, editor in chief of Caribbean Elite Magazine and Founder of the Caribbean Music Awards. Above all, Nowell cherishes her role as a mother and wife. Though she has many accolades, it is her philanthropic work with Fine Feather Foundation that she describes as the defining role of her life. Nowell, alongside many dedicated partners, has done amazing work on behalf of youths in the community. She is on the frontlines of many initiative such as back to school drives, clothing donations, educational tools donations, educational program sponsorship and so much more. 

Andrene Nowell sees Fine Feather Foundation as an angel company as the mission is to “Cover the Angels that will cover us!” Nowell knows that the children are the future and her goal is to nourish and prepare them so that they too can become beacons of hope. Empowered by her own experience of child abuse, Nowell has decided to make prevention and early intervention a priority while addressing and supporting the physical, mental and emotional needs of children. Nowell has received many accolades for her work in the community, which includes the Inna Star Trailblazer Award, a proclamation from the City of Allentown, a Mayor’s Citation and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. Nowell has made an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place, one child at a time.
