Thespina Godshalk, LPC

Thespina Godshalk is a 2009 graduate of Chestnut Hill College, where she completed her master’s degree in counseling mental health with a specialization in child and adolescent therapy. Thespina is a licensed professional counselor and clinical educator with certifications from the Sanctuary Model in trauma-informed care and from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and the Persad Center in Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression. Thespina has over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in a variety of community-based, outpatient and inpatient settings. Prior to coming to Lehigh Valley Health Network, Thespina was the director of a mental health resource and crisis support website for youth.

Thespina is the Program Director of LVHN’s School-Based Behavioral Health Program, which provides outpatient therapy and supportive resources for K-12 students in schools within and around the Lehigh Valley. Thespina also serves on the LVHN Diversity Committee and is a member of the American Counseling Association.

Thespina lives in the Lehigh Valley with her husband Chris and their two cats. She enjoys baking, reading and spending time in the garden.
